Doubt = When you’re right spank in the centre of fear!

A decision is upon you and it must be made to bring back certainty or uncertainty into your life.

We are creatures in need of both emotions.

We love uncertainty when it has something to do with adventure as rock climbing, traveling to an exotic part of the world, falling in love, etc.

We don’t know how it’s going to turn out but we know there is a lesson awaiting us on the other side so we risk finding the “prize”.

We also love certainty for its firm conviction that we are where we need to be and it makes us feel confident, calm, and in control.

But too much or too little of either of these needs will throw us off track and that’s when doubt comes in the picture.

Doubt arises from two situations:

– Too little uncertainty as a result of being certain for too long (too safe and playing under the radar)… stemming from being afraid.

and

– Too little certainty as a result of being uncertain for too long (lack of commitment, dedication, etc.), again, stemming from being afraid.

Both situations deliver the same message: Doubting yourself and therefore having a difficult time making a decision.

Have I confused you enough yet?!

Hang on. I’m going to “de-confuse” you now with some examples you might be able to relate to:

This past week, I’ve encountered a few doubtful people in various situations who were about to make decisions on a chosen path.

I observed wondering if these individuals succumb to fear or love:

– A young woman wanting way more out of life, not realizing she’s been living a very “safe” one: doubting every decision so far but knowing what she CAN’T live without experiencing the “other”  side.

– A man deciding whether his fear is bigger than an experience presented; one he’s been long waiting for but too afraid it might hurt him again: doubting whether he should take it and if he will ever have such a chance again?

– A woman deciding how much more she can possibly endure the actions of an unfaithful husband: doubting herself if she has the confidence, energy, and the love for herself and from others.

I KNOW! I had quite an interesting week.

Two of them conquered their fears and made decisions deriving from love, mostly self love.

I’m working my way in helping the third… just a little.

My question to you, dear reader, is next time you face doubt will you allow love or fear help you make the decision?

Think twice before you let doubt throw you off track!

Only ask yourself the questions to which the answers will lead you to your purpose and goals.

Please leave your comments and answers in the comment boxes under the questions. Remember, you can help others as someone in need may be reading them and can benefit from your words. Thank you for being part of the progress.
