I wish I could show you,

When you are lonely or

in the darkness,

The Astonishing Light

Of your own Being! ~ Hafiz

It triggered a very bright light in me. My skin was tingling and my eyes got brighter with joy and my smile wider and all the sudden reassurance and trust settled in my heart, when she came up to me in teary eyes and said: “You changed my life! You don’t know what you have done for me. You changed my life. Thank you.” as the tears still were running down her face.

I hadn’t seen her for many months prior to this encounter and ran into her at an event. I knew I did my best for her at the time we used to meet but I wasn’t sure if she was receptive to it or if she was “ready”. She was rewarding me.

After every session with clients or any encounter with friends and acquaintances I usually feel pretty high up there as I know I am doing what I love the most. I do it with passion and I do not mind putting the time in, whenever or wherever. I KNOW I have chosen the right path for myself as I am serving my calling.

Subsequently, I look into their eyes and watch their body languages and try to figure out if the effect has taken place or they need more time. I’ve seen many happy and satisfied faces, Aha! moments, tears and sadness, as well as very confused and frustrated looks! Delivering my part of the equation with the purest of intentions has been my ultimate reward.

And then comes the “feedback”. I’ve been told right then and there how helpful the talk has been, or even a few days later, or as in the above mentioned case, months later. I appreciate and cherish every single sweet one of them, no matter what form they are enunciated to me.

A reward is a reward. It stays in my heart forever.

Wishing you all beautiful people a very Merry Xmas, Happy Holidays and a very Happy New Year!
